Revuud

AI Matching

With Remedy, Revuud significantly increased team velocity and predictability, and saw measurable gains in platform performance, customer satisfaction, and overall cost efficiency.
The partnership kicked off in November of 2022. Remedy stood up a hybrid team, adding a product manager, backend engineer, frontend engineer, and QA engineer to work with Revuud’s internal team members.
Process Restructuring
Remedy’s initial focus was formalizing Revuud’s product and engineering processes to increase output predictability while still providing flexibility for pivots.
To do this, the team implemented:
Basic agile principles, including scrum methodology with two week sprint cycles.
Systemized processes in Jira for roadmapping and sprint planning, including accurate ticket sizing and better visual organization.
Standardized processes in Confluence for stronger documentation.
A collaborative product discovery board in Jira to organize Revuud’s clogged ticket backlog and make quarterly reporting easier. The board allows customer success and sales teams to enter requests based on client requests and behaviors from the front lines.
Following the implementation of these tools and practices, the Remedy team made improvements to Revuud’s existing platform’s codebase and infrastructure, including putting an audit trail in place so the team could collect data on user behavior.
To increase user retention, they also enhanced key product features for healthcare systems, such as extending the types of supported contract types. The team also improved the platform’s opportunities, engagements, payroll, time tracking features, and user dashboards functionality.
Operational Efficiency
The introduction of formalized agile workflows, structured sprint planning, and improved backlog management drastically increased predictability and team velocity. Revuud’s internal teams now operate with greater clarity, delivering releases on a biweekly cadence and reducing rework due to better documentation and QA practices.
Platform Maturity
By stabilizing the platform’s infrastructure and enhancing its feature set, Remedy helped Revuud transition into a true marketplace model. Healthcare organizations can now attract qualified talent with less lift, while the product supports a wider range of contract types, improved payroll integration, and more intuitive dashboards — all contributing to stronger user engagement.
AI-Driven Innovation
With the launch of AI Matching and other AI capabilities, Revuud is delivering on its vision of smarter hiring. Early data indicates a significant reduction in time spent by healthcare organizations reviewing unqualified candidates. AI-generated job descriptions and profile summaries have also improved job match quality, increasing applicant engagement and satisfaction.
Business Impact
Revuud has seen measurable gains in platform performance, customer satisfaction, and overall cost efficiency. Time-to-hire has decreased, and system-reported cost savings have improved. With Remedy as a strategic partner, Revuud continues to accelerate product delivery and expand its capabilities.

The Solutions

“Remedy isn’t a vendor — they’re part of our team. With their help, we’ve implemented new processes, launched major product features, and started delivering AI-powered innovation with speed and consistency that we didn’t have before. I have rarely worked with a development team with such a dynamic relationship that steadily produces such high quality results. When you bring an idea to Remedy, they either deliver it or bring back something better.”

The Impact
Revuud is a healthcare IT contractor management platform that enables healthcare organizations to find, hire, onboard, and manage specialized contractors in a single place. Revuud’s platform is a modern alternative to traditional staffing agencies and allows healthcare systems to reduce time-to-hire and lower costs on average over 30%.
In 2022, Revuud decided to pivot from its previous development partner due to persistent challenges including unreliable overhead management, poor planning, unpredictable delivery, and inconsistent output quality. The original MVP, built by the prior partner, had gaps in functionality and an unstable infrastructure.
Key issues included:
Lack of senior leadership oversight from the partner
Weak architectural design
Poor development process structure, with no consistent sprint planning, a backlog overload, and unclear prioritization
Gaps in platform functionality
Revuud engaged Remedy to formalize technical processes, increase team velocity and predictability, improve platform stability, and accelerate the development of new features.
Opportunity Feature
Released in Summer 2023, the Opportunity Feature allowed healthcare systems to post open roles that consultants could actively apply to — transforming Revuud into a true two-sided marketplace.
Unlike traditional staffing firms, where clients must chase talent, this self-serve model allows talent to find opportunities that match their expertise, minimizing lift for healthcare systems.

The first major upgrade to the Opportunity Feature was AI-powered matching, which Remedy supported. This feature analyzes job listings and consultant profiles to recommend qualified candidates automatically, saving healthcare systems time in the hiring process.
To further streamline the hiring process, the team is now expanding Revuud’s AI capabilities under the Scout brand. Remedy participates in an advisory board helping prioritize AI roadmap initiatives.
Upcoming AI features include:
Launch a mobile app MVP within 3 months.
AI-Generated Profile Overviews: GPT-powered summaries to help hiring managers quickly assess candidates
AI-Written Job Descriptions: Tools to help hospitals create more accurate and attractive job postings
Custom Application Questions: Dynamically generated prompts that filter out unqualified applicants earlier in the process
