Remedy Product Studio is excited to announce our investment Goose, the newest addition to our portfolio.

With this investment, Remedy supports Goose’s mission to equip the pet service industry with long-sought-after technical capabilities that allow pet care providers — think groomers, boarders, and daycare centers — to attract more customers, simplify operations, and unlock new levels of scalability and revenue.

Remedy’s investment is part of a $13.4 million seed round backed by B Capital, First Round Capital, The 81 Collection, Imaginary Ventures, and BoxGroup.

Why We Like It

The $10B+ pet services market is plagued with inefficiencies and fragmentation, despite growing expectations and demand from consumers. Millennials and Gen Z make up 49% of pet owners and spend significantly more on their pets, with the industry projected to reach $16B by 2029. These modern pet owners demand seamless, on-demand, self-service experiences akin to those in other sectors, like travel and dining.

However, the pet services market lacks unified technology and continues to fall short of modern expectations from pet care operators. That includes the ability to handle real-time bookings, revenue optimization, and data-driven operations, which leads to lost revenue, underutilized capacity, and subpar customer experiences.

Goose replaces outdated systems with a single, modern platform that streamlines bookings, scheduling, and customer engagement—giving both staff and pet parents a seamless, intuitive experience.

Key functionalities of the platform include:

  • Modern eCommerce: Online booking, advanced merchandising, and mobile responsiveness.

  • Revenue Management: Pricing optimization, automated surcharges, and occupancy adjustments to maximize revenue.

  • Data-Driven Operations: Streamlined workflows across services like boarding, daycare, grooming, and training—supported by customer insights, KPIs, and marketing attribution to inform better decision-making.

With Goose, pet service providers can increase revenue, operate more efficiently, boost customer satisfaction, and scale with confidence.

Remedy’s Value Add

As part of our investment, Remedy will serve as a strategic technology partner to Goose, contributing product and engineering expertise to help accelerate their roadmap. Our team is working closely with Goose to enhance the platform in key areas that support their long-term vision — always with a focus on creating value for pet care providers and their customers.

“Remedy has been an early partner to Goose, and it’s clear they see the broader opportunity in front of us,” says Drew Brinkoetter, Co-Founder and CEO of Goose. “Their investment reflects our shared belief that the pet care industry is ready for smarter, more connected solutions — and we’re grateful for their support as we scale.”

The investment in Goose aligns with Remedy’s thesis of investing in technology businesses that revolutionize the way we engage in commerce.

“From our very first conversation with Drew and Chris, it was clear they understood this industry like few others,” says Jess Schram, Remedy’s Director of Investments and Incubations. “Drew’s background in operations and private equity, along with his experience co-founding Yardstick, a multi-location dog hotel and daycare brand, combined with Chris’s industry expertise, having founded Petbookings.com and led operations at Arbor Lane Kennel, makes them the perfect team to take on one of the largest and most outdated segments of pet care.”

“Goose is building exactly what today’s pet parents are looking for: a modern, seamless, and trustworthy experience. We’re thrilled to back this team as they shake up a legacy industry and redefine what pet care should look like.”
