About the Company
Goose is a pet-care platform that streamlines pet daycare, training, and boarding experiences for both service providers and pet owners.
Through Goose, providers can simplify revenue management and workflow, and owners can manage an online portal for dog and cat boarding, grooming, training, and daycare services.
The Goose team approached Remedy to create a new booking platform for their pet-care facility that was more centralized than their preexisting platform. Goose wanted a space where pet-care providers could sustainably grow their businesses and manage workflow while pet owners could quickly access the services they needed.
After confirming product-market fit and user needs through market research, Remedy began the requirements elicitation stage, developed a strategy for upcoming project phases, and identified the best tools for the project, which included Figma, Miro, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Photoshop.
Next, Remedy developed a fully-functioning MVP to test technical feasibility. Through this process, the team identified an ideal design pattern that would address the challenge of ensuring the wide variety of services and features were intuitive for all users to navigate.

Remedy ultimately built a pet boarding platform that serves 3 major user types:
1. Goose Admins: The new system allows admins to monitor dashboards, review in-depth reports to analyze business metrics, and easily grant user-access to new users and businesses.
2. Pet-Care Facility Owners: The new system allows them to customize their profile design and content, collect and process payments, approve sales, manage clients, and review client and pet record data and reports.
3. Pet Owners: The new system allows them to check in and out, manage their reservations, specify their service preferences, and receive appointment reminders.
